Mark A. Cramer, Jr., of Shippensburg, PA, died abruptly on July 6, 2024, and the community is mourning his loss. Mark, a long-time resident and beloved figure in the community, impacted many people’s lives with his outgoing attitude and active participation in a variety of activities. Mark was born on March 8, 1991, in Bedford, Pennsylvania, to Mark A. and Lisa S. Cramer.
He graduated from Shippensburg Area Senior High School in 2009, where he excelled in both football and baseball, leaving an indelible mark on his peers and teammates. Mark was very passionate about his work and hobbies. He worked as a lead foreman sports turf technician at Quality Turf, providing devotion and competence to his job.
Prior to this position, he worked as an arborist, demonstrating his expertise in tree care for many years. Outside of work, Mark was very interested in his community and pursued his interests with zeal. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Striped Bass Association and proudly represented them as part of the Uncontrolled Chaos fishing team. Mark enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and boating. He was known among friends and family as a talented grill master, having spent countless hours perfecting his BBQ techniques. Mark had a fun side that was known.
