Austin Walker who died in e-scooter-car collision remembered as Saskatoon man is charged with impaired driving causing death

Wade Scott Chaboyer, 38 years old, is facing charges of fleeing the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle while impaired, and operating a motor vehicle while having a blood alcohol concentration that is greater than 80 milligrams of alcohol, which resulted in death.

On June 22, a horrible tragedy involving a hit-and-run occurred on Warman Road in Saskatoon, within the province of Saskatchewan. Austin, who was 25 years old at the time, was injured as a result of the incident. The crash occurred close to the flyover that is located on Circle Drive.

In addition to his younger brother and sister, Auzi also had a nephew who was still an infant and a niece who had recently learned how to pronounce “uncle.” Auzi had a close contact with each and every one of these individuals. After spending the night watching playoff hockey, Auzi was riding one of the city’s shared electric scooters on his way home when he was struck and killed by a vehicle. The incident occurred just three minutes before Auzi’s death. Over the previous evening, his brother had sent him the last text message he would ever receive.

It is Chet’s assertion that Auzi first traveled with a group of friends, but that they soon parted ways, allowing him to travel from that location to his house alone himself. When the police found him laying on the road, they did so as a result of the accusations that were brought against the driver of the vehicle that had hit him. He was hit by a vehicle, but the driver of that vehicle had already departed the area.

The horrible ordeal that Chet went through when he learned that his son had passed away was narrated by Chet. Initially, he was under the impression that one of his grandchildren had fallen after hearing his wife yell his name from another room. After some time had passed, however, a law enforcement official informed him that Auzi had been murdered by a driver who was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol throughout the incident.

That is simply out of this world. The members of our family are reasonably near to one another.”Not only is he my son, but in addition to that, he is also my absolute best friend,” Chet noted, shedding tears as he made his statement. An exceptional athlete, Auzi was also a highly successful salesman in addition to being a fantastic bodybuilder.

His boyhood was spent in Dalmeny, and after he graduated from high school, he moved to Saskatoon. He has lived there ever since. After that, he went on to study business at the University of Saskatchewan for a year. After that, he went on to work as an inside sales representative for Wajax, which is a Canadian distributor of industrial products. There was a persistent stream of people encouraging the corporation, “You have to go get this guy,” and the corporation continued to hear it. Chet expresses his belief that “He is that good.”

Throughout the period of fifteen to sixteen years, Chet instructed his son in the sport of hockey as well as the sport of competitive baseball. Before making the decision to focus on his job, Auzi had played AA hockey in Warman and Martensville, junior B hockey with the Saskatoon Westleys, and senior hockey in his hometown. Following these experiences, he opted to focus on his career.

During the winter, he was considering going back to the game he had previously played. Additionally, Auzi was an avid angler, and he and his friends would plan annual visits to Tobin Lake in order to fish for a variety of species. On top of that, they would often spend their weekends at the family cabin that was located on Weyakwin Lake.

Hockey was the subject of the majority of the chats that Chet had with his son on a regular basis. Azu was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, a professional hockey team. It is planned that his hockey skates, helmet, gloves, and jersey will be placed at the front of the building during the funeral service that will be performed at Circle Drive Alliance Church. In addition, those who are unable to attend the ceremony in person will be able to watch it live online. Participants are highly encouraged to wear the jerseys of their favorite clubs.

“Whenever something wonderful happened in his life or at work, he would always come straight to my office and tell me in person. He was required to let me know in person. In person, he would tell me the news that he had received. As a result, that is the someone or object that I will forget. Chet stated, “Everything is going to be out of my reach,” when he was speaking. The residence that Auzi lived with two other individuals was situated on Russell Road, which is located in the northern portion of the city. It is something that Chet is terrified of accomplishing, and that is the process of cleaning out the things that belong to his son.

Since the beginning of the week and a half ago, the family has been focusing their attention on celebrating the life of Auzi. It is Chet’s intention to provide testimony in court against the driver who is being suspected of being responsible for the death of his child.

Wade Scott Chaboyer, who is 38 years old, has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while impaired, and driving with a blood-alcohol level that was higher than the legal limit causing death. These are the charges that have been made against him. The conditions that he was released under were imposed, and his subsequent court appearance is scheduled to take place on the 17th of July.
